Johan Jeuring

Professor of Software Technology for Learning and Teaching at the department of Information and Computing Sciences (80%) and the Freudenthal Institute (20%) of Utrecht University. I am co-leader of the focus area AI technologies in education of the Dutch National Education Lab AI.

Besides my academic affiliations, I am Chief Scientific Officer of DialogueTrainer, and chairman of Stichting Stilt.

I initiate and lead research, education, innovation and change in technology for education. My main research interests are:

• Computing education
• Automatic Feedback and Hints
• AI in Education
• Intelligent Tutoring Systems
• Serious games

I will be on sabbatical in the academic year 2023-2024.
